Dr Arya completed his MBBS from NRS medical College Kolkata . After completing his basic medical training he went to England for higher studies.

He spent 10 years in England and was rewarded FRCS ( Otolaryngology) Glasgow and FRCS (Otolaryngology) Edinburgh.

He returned to India and initially worked in CMRI Kolkata and Bellevue Hospital for 2 years .

He joined Apollo Multispeciality Hospital in 2004 when this hospital was built in Kolkata.

Dr Arya is now working in Apollo Hospital for last 22 years and now he is the Head of ENT Department and most senior consultant ENT surgeon .

He has performed over 10000 surgeries in last 22 years.
